Holiday Portrait Commission

'Tis the season to get a commission! I get a lot of messages asking for commissions, and I'm not available for them throughout the year. So I dedicated some time right now to open up a special holiday commission shop at a super special rate just for you!

I'm currently accepting a limited number of commissions for an original 5x7" painted portrait in the style seen here. Portraits will be painted with gouache on thick, acid-free white watercolor paper.

An original painting of your loved one would make a super special holiday gift (or anniversary, birthday, Valentine's...for you clever birds planning ahead)!

With this order, you'll receive:
1) An original 5x7" hand-painted gouache portrait of one person on a luxurious acid-free stock.
2) A hi-res scan of the image that you will have the license to use for your personal purposes (i.e. your social media profile photo, personal stationery), but not for business purposes (sorry, can't use it as the logo for your business or sell it as a print).

IMPORTANT:
Once you've submitted your order, you must email [email protected] with subject line "HOLIDAY PORTRAIT COMMISSION" and include reference photos (please see guidelines below). Your order is not placed in the queue until your photo is submitted; if you haven't sent your photo within 24 hours of ordering, you will be refunded and the spot will open up again for someone else.

PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
1) For best results, send 1-3 large reference photos.
2) From the shoulders up, please!
3) Focused, bright photos in natural lighting work best.
4) Please specify eye color.
5) Let me know about any small favorite custom details you'd like to request: i.e. red lipstick, flowers in the hair (like specified for this example portrait commission), striped top.

TURNAROUND TIME:
Currently 7-10 days from your placement of order, all orders placed before December 2 will be shipped by December 14. This means that U.S. orders will very likely be received before Christmas, but no guarantees (I, sadly, cannot control the mail).

SHIPPING:
domestic & international, is free! Paintings will be shipped in a clear protective sleeve in a stiff cardboard envelope. U.S. addresses will shipped via Priority Mail, while International addresses will be shipped via First Class International post.

By purchasing this print, you understand that you are only purchasing the painting and personal licensing usage rights, but image copyright remains with the artist.
